‘The Intouchables’ Star Omar Sy Added To ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’

Many who weren’t keeping an eye on the Best Foreign Film awards nominations this past season might have missed Omar Sy, star of French movie ‘The Intouchables’, but he’s about to become a household name with a role in Bryan Singer’s sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Singer tweeted about the casting of “brilliant” Sy, who has become the latest star to be announced via the social media platform.

He will join Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Anna Paquin, Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, Peter Dinklage, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore and Hugh Jackman on the film, which is set to hit theatres 18th July 2014.
