Disney Confirms One-a-Year Plan For New ‘Star Wars’ Films
For cinema junkies, this week has been all about CinemaCon. There has been plenty of news breaking from the annual convention. Of the most important was Disney’s confirmed plans for their newly acquired Star Wars franchise.
They’ve confirmed their director, they’ve confirmed part of the cast, and now they’ve confirmed their initial timeline. Starting in the summer of 2015, they’ll release Star Wars Episode VII, then alternate every year with a spin-off or sequel.
That’s a whole lot of Star Wars considering the timeline of Episodes I through VI.
Now…we just have to wait until the summer of 2015 and Episode VII could be the most anticipated movie of all-time. That’s not an exaggeration.
