Ghostbusters Director’s ‘Draft Day’ Casting Finalizes in Timely Fashion
For those unfamiliar, tomorrow night is the start of the only NFL milestone between here and Preseason. It’s draft day.
Although the first pick is still up in the air, the film Draft Day took to New York to film the actual draft day footage. They’ll presumably be using some of it in the movie.
Plot details include the Cleveland Browns management and their quest to trade up for the first pick to help save Cleveland’s football aspirations. As a football fan, the draft is an exciting time for underachieving teams to get the best college players. It also is an environment ripe for drama with front office pressures, time and money constraints, and war room debates.
It currently doesn’t have a release date, but Draft Day is being directed by Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters). It’ll star Kevin Costner and Jennifer Garner, and up-and-comer Chadwick Boseman (42) is also featured. For music fans, it appears Sean Combs will fill a role, too.
More information will be available soon!
