Michael Caine Added to Christopher Nolan’s ‘Interstellar’…Surprising Nobody
If you are a fan of Christopher Nolan’s work, you should know he likes to stick with the same cast if possible.
Although his newest movie – titled Interstellar – is adding a new face in Matthew McConaughey, it’s been reported that Anne Hathaway will re-team with Nolan after playing Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises.
The next step for Nolan was bringing back Michael Caine, who has appeared in five (The Dark Knight trilogy, The Prestige, and Inception) of Nolan’s eight films. It appears this wish has come true.
It’s just a matter of time before other Nolan alums (I’m looking at you Cillian Murphy and Christian Bale) join the party. Interestingly, Jessica Chastain appears to be in serious talks for a spot. Adding two strong females could help Nolan’s case, since one of his biggest criticisms is lack of strong female characters.
Anyway, Interstellar will release on November 7, 2014. We will keep you updated on information as it becomes available.
