Ewan McGregor Replaces Exited Bradley Cooper in ‘Jane Got a Gun’
Jane Got a Gun has had an interesting trip to the big screen. Although technically it’s not on the big screen, it’s on its way.
First, Jude Law was supposed to star in the movie that was going to be directed by Lynne Ramsay (We Need to Talk About Kevin). Once Ramsay exited, so did Law.
Next, Gavin O’Connor (Warrior) stepped in, and Bradley Cooper was nabbed as a star. Well, turns out Cooper is super busy, so he exited the project last week.
Now, Ewan McGregor has signed on to take over the villain role Cooper left vacant. McGregor has also been busy, but it appears he’ll be able to fit this into his schedule. For fans of the Scottish actor, this is good news.
Jane Got a Gun, a western, also stars Natalie Portman and Joel Edgerton. It doesn’t have a specific release date yet.
