Photo Mania: The Wolf of Wall Street, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and More
After Monday’s trailers and yesterday’s posters, I’ve attached the latest (and greatest) photos from the past week. Below you’ll find stills from upcoming movies like The Wolf of Wall Street, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Neighbors, The Zero Theorem, and a couple movies that played at the Telluride Film Festival, like Nebraska, and Under the Skin. As always, check the gallery for additional photos.
And come back tomorrow for the latest news breaks.
Martin Scorsese’s next film, set to release November 15th, released two new photos. The Wolf of Wall Street, as it’s titled, is based on a book (of the same name by Jordan Belfort). The drama stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, and Matthew McConaughey (among other great cast members). Check out the photos above. (Source: Flicks and Bits)
With yesterday’s posters also came the newest photos. All four are available below, and they show actor-director Ben Stiller as well as Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids). Adam Scott (Step Brothers) and Sean Penn also star in the movie that is set to release December 25th. (Source: Yahoo)
Nicholas Stoller, best known for his work in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and The Muppets, is set to release another comedy next year. Titled Neighbors, it’ll star Zac Efron (17 Again), Seth Rogen, and Rose Byrne (Bridesmaids). It’ll tell the story of a couple (Rogen and Byrne) living next to a fraternity. Neighbors should release May 9, 2014. (Source: First Showing)
Another photo released for Terry Gilliam’s (12 Monkeys) The Zero Theorem, too. It again showcases the eccentric-looking (and bald-headed) Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained). The existential movie will release December 20th after its Venice Film Festival premiere two days ago. It also features Matt Damon and Tilda Swinton (We Need to Talk About Kevin). (Source: Collider)
Alexander Payne’s (The Descendants) newest movie, Nebraska, could very well be a Best Picture contender. The black-and-white film is also a vehicle for Bruce Dern’s (Coming Home) Best Actor bid. It played at the Telluride Film Festival (along with the next film) and you can see the newest pictures above. It releases in limited theaters November 22nd. (Source: IndieWire)
Jonathan Glazer’s (Birth) sci-fi film Under the Skin also played at Tulluride. A quick look at the film can be seen above, but it doesn’t give much away about potential plot. I’m here to tell you it’s about an alien that attacks hitchhikers. Interesting, huh? Unfortunately, no release date is available yet. (Source: IndieWire)
That about does it for this week. See you next time around!
