Photo Mania: The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, and More
After taking a couple weeks off for the holidays, I’ve returned with a marvelous round of photos. And by marvelous, I mean Marvel-ous because The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier are all featured below. Also, I’ve attached new photos for Horrible Bosses 2, Gone Girl, Exodus, and Transcendence.
Two more photos came online for one of this year’s biggest films (The Amazing Spider-Man 2). Marc Webb’s sequel to his last Spidey movie again stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. It will release on May 2nd. To get another look at this movie’s villain, check out Jamie Foxx above. (Source: Empire)
Although production is still ongoing for Marvel’s next addition to their Cinematic Universe, that didn’t stop them from releasing the first official photo for Guardians of the Galaxy. It most notably stars Chris Pratt (NBC’s Parks and Recreation) and I’m hoping James Gunn’s (Thor: The Dark World) latest pans out. (Source: EW)
Before Guardians of the Galaxy, audiences will get to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Either way, you can check out the full gallery below. It stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and releases April 4th. The Russo brothers (You, Me, and Dupree) are in charge of the movie. (Source: Marvel)
Another sequel, Horrible Bosses 2, also showed us a glimpse of the upcoming comedy. It isn’t a whole lot, but something is better than nothing, right? The picture does show stars Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudeikis, but that’s about it. Sean Anders (Sex Drive) directs the film that’ll release eventually (November 28). (Source: Collider)
Gone Girl, based on the popular novel of the same name, unveiled their first image, too. It prominently shows star Ben Affleck. David Fincher (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) will finally release another movie on October 3rd. (Source: Twitter)
From David Fincher to Ridley Scott, I thought I better attach a look at Exodus. The movie, which stars Christian Bale (featured above), Joel Edgerton (Zero Dark Thirty), and Aaron Paul (AMC’s Breaking Bad), is just one of two biblical epics (seriously, how many times do you see those?) this year. Scott’s film will grace theaters way later next year (December 12th), so we’ve got a lot of time to wait. (Source: Cinema Blend)
To go along with the three trailers, I thought it’d be appropriate to include a new photo for Transcendence. As you can see above, the film stars Johnny Depp. Also, it features Morgan Freeman and is directed by Wally Pfister (who has a connection to Christopher Nolan). It’ll make it to theaters April 18th.
