Photo Mania: Divergent, The Maze Runner, The LEGO Movie, and More
As the famous commercial would say, happy hump day folks! Midweek means movie photos for us (and now you). Below you can find links and photos for the latest movies. In short, you’ll find photos for Divergent, The Maze Runner, The LEGO Movie, A Million Ways to Die in the West, Bad Words, The Fault in our Stars, and Under the Skin.
It wasn’t a whole lot, but a new photo did surface for Divergent. The film is slowly releasing more and more, and the latest shows off Theo James (CBS’s Golden Boy). The big star, Shailene Woodley, is also present in the photo. Neil Burger’s (Limitless) film will release on March 21st. (Source: Hypable)
A group shot for The Maze Runner came out two days ago. Although it stars a bunch of names that aren’t exactly household ones (Dylan O’Brien, Thomas Sangster, and Kaya Scodelario) and is directed by new director Wes Bell, there is still some hype behind the source material. The book adaptation will likely get more marketing soon with a release on September 19th. (Source: Cinema Blend)
A full set of photos released for The LEGO Movie. I’ve said this since I saw the trailers, but I think the movie reminds me of Wreck-It Ralph. In no way is this a bad thing. I can’t wait to see (and hear) Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman, Will Arnett, and more on February 7th. If you can’t wait that long to see Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s (21 Jump Street) animated comedy, check out the gallery below. (Source: Collider)
When I report on a bunch of movies, I tend to forget about movies I shouldn’t. A Million Ways to Die in the West is one of those movies. Seth McFarlane’s (Ted) film, even though it releases already May 30th, hasn’t had a whole lot released. In fact, I think this is the first official look at the western comedy that stars McFarlane, Charlize Theron (Young Adult), Amanda Seyfried (In Time), and Liam Neeson. (Source: Moviefone)
I’ve also attached three photos (all available below) for Jason Bateman’s Bad Words. This makes it back-to-back for his directorial debut as it also released a funny poster recently. Not only does Bateman appear in the movie, but it also features Allison Janney (The Help) and Rachael Harris (The Hangover). You’ll be able to see the full movie starting March 14th in limited theaters. (Source: Yahoo)
Lost in the shuffle a bit was another photo from the other book adaptation this week – The Fault in our Stars. I’ve heard a lot about this book, but I haven’t had time to read the book yet. It appears I have until June 6th to read the book before the movie, which stars Divergent actors Shailene Woodley (yes, she’s in two popular book adaptations in one year) and Ansel Elgort, releases. Before a trailer drops later this week, check out the photo above. (Source: Twitter)
The last gallery belongs to Under the Skin. For those that aren’t aware of the film, Jonathan Glazer’s (Birth) movie will be about a hitchhiker-preying alien. It’s made the rounds at some film festivals and will thrill its way into theaters starting April 4th. As for talent, this actress named Scarlett Johansson (you’ve probably heard of her) headlines the film. (Source: IndieWire)
