Photo Mania: Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Monuments Men, and More
Hello and welcome to a new edition of Photo Mania. In this week’s version, I have the latest from upcoming movies like Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Monuments Men, Maze Runner, A Million Ways to Die in the West, Bad Words, Pompeii, and A Field in England. Scroll for the photos, galleries, and information on each film.

With a release creeping closer, seven more photos for the first superhero movie of 2014 came online. That first superhero movie is the Chris Evans-fronted Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Going along with yesterday’s posters, you can see the new photos below. The Russo Brothers (You, Me, and Dupree) are directing Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson (pictured below), Anthony Mackie (pictured below), and Cobie Smulders (also pictured below). The movie releases April 4th. (Source: Comicbook.com)
Already next weekend we can see The Monuments Men. Today, however, you can see ten new photos for the film that stars (and is directed by) George Clooney, Matt Damon, John Goodman, and Cate Blanchett. Check out all the photos before the WWII drama comes out on February 7th. (Source: Collider)
Another week, another release of a Maze Runner photo. The film adaptation of the popular book doesn’t come out until September 19th, so we shouldn’t expect a whole lot yet. However, the photo does show off Will Poulter (We’re the Millers) as one of the many castmembers. Wes Ball’s film will also star Dylan O’Brien (High Road) and Thomas Sangster (HBO’s Game of Thrones). Check back later for more on this film. (Source: Hypable)
Seth MacFarlane’s (Ted) A Million Ways to Die in the West has been on a roll recently. If the photos below aren’t enough, check out the latest trailer and posters. The movie, as you can probably tell, stars Charlize Theron, Neil Patrick Harris, Liam Neeson, and Amanda Seyfried. The movie releases May 30th. (Source: Comingsoon)
After last week’s photo release, I’ve found two new photos for Jason Bateman’s directorial debut Bad Words. The comedy, which is set to release March 14th, also stars Allison Janney (Juno) and Kathryn Hahn (Afternoon Delight). (Source: Comingsoon)
I also attached a full gallery to Pompeii. Like The Monuments Men, this movie is releasing already this month (on February 21). Unlike The Monuments Men, it stars Kit Harington (HBO’s Game of Thrones), Kiefer Sutherland (FOX’s 24), and Jared Harris (AMC’s Mad Men). Take a look at all nine photos for Paul W.S. Anderson’s (Death Race) below. (Source: ScreenCrush)
The final three images come by the way of A Field in England. As the second limited release of the week (and the second to release on February 7th), A Field in England is probably a film you haven’t heard that much about. Ben Wheatley (Sightseers) directed the film that stars Julian Barratt (The Mighty Boosh) and Peter Ferdinando (Snow White and the Huntsman). As for plot, it’ll take place during the English Civil War. (Source: Collider)
