Clip Mania: Winter’s Tale, Non-Stop, Pompeii, and More
Hello and happy Friday everyone! If you’d like to check out some scenes from some upcoming movies, read on! Below I’ll have the newest clips for movies coming out this weekend – Winter’s Tale and Jimmy P. – as well as new ones from later releases like Non-Stop, Pompeii, Veronica Mars, Son of God, and Haunt.
As always, scroll for everything you need.
Six total clips came out for Akiva Goldsman’s supernatural drama Winter’s Tale. Out in theaters today, you can see the film that stars everyone from Colin Farrell to Russell Crowe to Will Smith. If you are thinking about seeing the movie (or practically half of it), check out the videos above.
With just one less clip, you can see a lot of Non-Stop as well. The five clips tell part of the story of a federal air marshal that is involved in a deadly cat-and-mouse game aboard an international flight. If it sounds like a movie Liam Neeson would star in, you are exactly right! It also features Julianne Moore (Don Jon). Jaume Collet-Serra (Unknown) directs the film that comes out already February 28th.
Splitting Winter’s Tale and Non-Stop is Paul W.S. Anderson’s (Resident Evil) action-adventure film Pompeii. Kit Harington (HBO’s Game of Thrones), Emily Browning (Sucker Punch), and Kiefer Sutherland star in the film that’ll release February 21st. I found the latest three clips if you want to take a look.
A little later on we’ll be able to see the long-awaited Veronica Mars movie. Creator Rob Thomas returns to direct the movie that’s based on the cult TV series. Of course, Kristen Bell is also returning as the title character. James Franco will appear in the movie (which is set to release on March 14th). The newest clip is above.
Back to the February 28th slot, I found a clip for the biblical film Son of God. Darren Aronofsky’s (Black Swan) film Noah is getting a lot of buzz, so a lot of people probably don’t know that there is another biblical movie coming out before it. If you want to see part of the movie, which is directed by Christopher Spencer and stars Diogo Morgado (The Forest), check out the clip.
The second release this weekend (with a clip) is Arnaud Desplechin’s (A Christmas Tale) Jimmy P. The biggest name in the project is Benecio del Toro and he’ll be playing an ailing Indian trying to recover after war. The French film is playing in limited theaters, so I’d check out the two clips before it plays near you.
To satisfy your horror quench, I’ve attached a new clip for Haunt. Mac Carter’s film stars Harrison Gilbertson (Virginia), Liana Liberato (Free Ride), and Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook). The film hit V.O.D. markets already on February 7th, but you can see it theatrically a month later on March 7th.
For the rest of this week’s posts, check out the latest trailers (Monday), posters (Tuesday), photos (Wednesday), and news updates (Thursday). If you are looking for a movie to see this weekend, check out the newest releases.
Have a great weekend!
