Photo Mania: The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Godzilla, Noah, Peanuts, and More
Following Monday’s trailers and yesterday’s posters, I’ve collected this past week’s biggest and best photos. This includes natives to this week – The Amazing Spider-Man, Godzilla, Peanuts, Hercules, and The Signal – while also touching on some newbies (Noah and The Fault In Our Stars).
As always, scroll to find the movie info and the photos!
I found two more photos for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and thought I’d share them above. Both feature Spider-Man (go figure), which will be played by Andrew Garfield again, but you can also see newcomer Dane DeHaan (Chronicle). Jamie Foxx and Paul Giamatti (Win Win) are among the others added to Marc Webb’s sequel. The movie comes out on May 2nd. (Source: Yahoo)
I also rounded up four new photos for the Godzilla remake. I’m normally hesitant to champion a remake, but Gareth Edwards’ (Monsters) film looks pretty dang awesome. The movie stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Nowhere Boy), Bryan Cranston, and Elizabeth Olsen (Oldboy). This one comes out two weeks after Spider-Man on May 16th. (Source: IndieWire)
The most photos for the week come by the way of Noah. Darren Aronofsky’s (Black Swan) newest film comes out this weekend (officially on March 28th), so this may be your last opportunity to get a glimpse at the film. Russell Crowe, Emma Watson, and Anthony Hopkins are among the stars, and I am practically counting down the hours until I get to see this one. Check out the 15 total photos in the gallery below. Along with the first teaser, I’ve attached two stills for the animated comedy Peanuts. Based on the popular comic strip, this one will have a considerable amount of hype when it releases all the way on November 6, 2015. It is directed by Steve Martino (Horton Hears a Who!) with the stars yet to be announced. (Source: USA Today)
Based on a popular novel, one of the next big film adaptations is for The Fault In Our Stars. The romantic comedy tear-jerker is directed by Josh Boone (Stuck in Love) and stars Divergent headliners Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort. Check out the five photos below before the movie releases on June 6th. (Source: Collider)
Above are two photos for Hercules starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Brett Ratner (Tower Heist) directs the film that should release this summer on July 25th. Besides “The Rock,” you’ll be able to see Rufus Sewell (The Illusionist), John Hurt (The Elephant Man), and Ian McShane (Hot Rod) appear in the movie. (Source: USA Today)
With yesterday’s poster came three photos for The Signal. The sci-fi film, for those that don’t know, is about a couple of hackers that mysteriously end up in captivity. Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix) and Brenton Thwaites (Seven’s Home and Away) appear in the film set to release on June 13th. (Source: First Showing)
