Trailer Round-Up: Transformers: Age of Extinction, Guardians of the Galaxy, and More
Happy Memorial Day! On today’s Trailer Round-Up, I’ve attached seven new trailers (two being international). More specifically, you can get new looks at movies like Transformers: Age of Extinction, Guardians of the Galaxy, Jupiter Ascending, Foxcatcher, Magic in the Moonlight, Get On Up, and Wish I Was Here.
Scroll to find the trailers along with information about the movies (including directors, stars, and release dates).
If you’re looking for new Transformers footage, the latest international trailer is for you. I’m not exactly counting down the days until Michael Bay’s next film comes out, but with Mark Wahlberg joining the franchise, I am somewhat hopeful. The latest sci-fi film, officially titled Transformers: Age of Extinction, comes out June 27th. You can check out the trailer above!
I am significantly more excited for James Gunn’s (Super) Guardians of the Galaxy. Marvel’s track record has been pretty awesome up to this point, so I’m hoping they can continue it. The second trailer is available above before the movie lands in theaters August 1st. The movie stars Chris Pratt (NBC’s Parks and Recreation), Zoe Saldana (Avatar), and Vin Diesel.
An international trailer also came out for Jupiter Ascending – the latest by The Wachowskis (The Matrix). I’m still trying to get a grasp on what to expect from the film. I’ll only have to wait until July 18th to see the movie all the way through. For those that don’t know, it stars Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum.
Foxcatcher – a movie that made waves at this year’s Cannes Film Festival when Bennett Miller (Moneyball) took home the Best Director award – released a teaser. Channing Tatum again appears in this movie, but he looks to be overshadowed by Steve Carell’s performance. This movie hits U.S. theaters on November 14th.
Woody Allen’s latest film, titled Magic in the Moonlight, also released its first trailer. This rom-com features Emma Stone and Colin Firth. If you want to get a glimpse of the film, check out the trailer. Magic in the Moonlight comes out July 25th.
The James Brown biopic, Get On Up, released another trailer, too. Chadwick Boseman (42) stars as Brown with The Help’s Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer co-starring. Get On Up is directed by Tate Taylor (The Help) and comes out August 1st alongside Guardians of the Galaxy.
Lastly, I’ve attached the latest trailer for Zach Braff’s (Garden State) next directorial project, Wish I Was Here. Braff will star alongside Kate Hudson (Bride Wars) and Mandy Patinkin (The Princess Bride). Check out the trailer above before the movie releases on July 18th.
