Clip Mania: Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, The Giver, If I Stay, and More
Happy Friday folks! In today’s post you can find a bunch of clips to seven different movies. Specifically, I’ve got a clip for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, four for The Giver, six for If I Stay, one for The Drop, two for Frank, one for A Trip to Italy, and one for The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story. Since three of the movies come out this weekend, this is a good preview for what is to come!
Enjoy all the clips below!
First up is Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez’s sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Although I wasn’t a fan of the first film, I can’t deny the stylistic appeal of these comic book-y movies. If you want another clip before its August 22nd release date, check it out above. If not, look for this movie (which stars Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, and more) soon!
Out wide this weekend is the film adaptation of The Giver. As a fan of Lois Lowry’s novel, I have been counting down this pic for quite awhile. To add to the anticipation, Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep, and Brenton Thwaites (Maleficent) star in the film. If you’d like some looks at Phillip Noyce’s (Salt) film, check out all four clips above.
I’ve also attached six clips for If I Stay – another film adaptation of a popular novel. This one is directed by R.J. Cutler (The September Issue) and stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Mireille Enos (AMC’s The Killing), and Stacy Keach (Nebraska). Again, if you’d like to see part of this movie, watch the six clips above before this movie also releases August 22nd.
Moving into September, I have a new clip for The Drop as well. Releasing on September 12th, the crime-drama stars Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), and the late James Gandolfini. The clip for Michael R. Roskam’s (Bullhead) latest is available above!
Also out this weekend (though it is in limited theaters) is the Michael Fassbender-fronted Frank. If you get to see the movie, you probably won’t actually see Fassbender as he sports an interesting mask. This mask, and more, is explained in the two clips above. Again, check out the full movie, which was directed by Lenny Abrahamson (What Richard Did), this weekend.
Speaking of this weekend, I attached a clip for The Trip to Italy. Michael Winterbottom’s sequel to the hilariously funny The Trip again stars Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon. Watch the clip now and get to a screening as soon as possible.
Finally, I couldn’t pass up the chance to show off part of the made-for-TV movie The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story. I wasn’t the biggest Saved by the Bell fan growing up but I know the clout behind the hit show. If you’d like to see part of the movie, which was directed by Jason Lapeyre and will release on Lifetime September 1st, check out the video above!
Have a great weekend everyone!
