Poster Mania: Avengers: Age of Ultron, Furious 7, Exodus: Gods and Kings, and More
After yesterday’s Trailer Round-Up, today is all about the posters. To go along with yesterday’s trailers for Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Gambler, and Insidious: Chapter 3, I’ve got new posters. To go along with those, I attached single posters for Furious 7 and Still Alice while attaching new galleries for both Exodus: Gods and Kings and Penguins of Madagascar.
Check them all out below!
First up today is a new poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron. Unlike yesterday’s teaser, this poster really doesn’t give us too much into the plot. Posters can be that way sometimes so it’s not usual to see something more artistic. Joss Whedon’s follow-up again stars Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, and the rest of the spectacular cast. The movie releases on May 1, 2015. (Source: Comingsoon)
Above is the first banner and poster for the newly retitled Furious 7. The seventh iteration is directed by James Wan (The Conjuring) and again stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and (the late) Paul Walker (you can check out the main cast in the banner). This one will release on April 3, 2015. (Source: Twitter)
The first gallery belongs to Ridley Scott’s (Prometheus) biblical epic Exodus: Gods and Kings. As the posters show, the movie stars Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton (Zero Dark Thirty). Look for this movie starting December 12th. If you’re at all interested, the posters are below. (Source: IMDb)
I’ve also got multiple posters for the animated flick Penguins of Madagascar. These character(ish) posters show off my absolute favorite part of the Madagascar franchise: the penguins. The spin-off, which is co-directed by Simon J. Smith and Eric Darnell, releases November 26th and returns voice stars Tom McGrath and Chris Miller. All four posters are available in full below. A new poster flanked the first trailer for the Mark Wahlberg-starring film The Gambler. Rupert Wyatt’s (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) remake doesn’t release until January 2nd (in wide) but should be available in limited theaters already on November 10th. If you want to see some of Wahlberg’s transformation, check out the poster above. (Source: Comingsoon)
Just like The Gambler, there was a new trailer for Insidious: Chapter 3 yesterday. To go along with it, I attached a new text-heavy poster above. Leigh Whannell’s third adaptation will star Dermot Mulroney (August: Osage County) and Stefanie Scott (No Strings Attached) this time around. Check out the poster above and the movie May 29, 2015. To finish us out, I also uploaded the latest poster for the drama Still Alice. This may not be the most notable film of the bunch but it has received a little buzz due to Julianne Moore’s (Don Jon) performance. Wash West and Richard Glatzer’s film adaptation also stars Kristen Stewart and should release December 31st in limited release and January 16, 2015 in wide. (Source: IMP Awards)
