Trailer Round-Up: Terminator Genisys, While We’re Young, Vice, and More
Another Monday, another Trailer Round-Up here at Film Equals. Today you can see the debut trailer for Terminator Genisys alongside some lesser-known movies like While We’re Young, Vice, Wild Card, Search Party, Little Accidents, and Black or White.
Each trailer is below with information about each movie.
Today’s most notable trailer far-and-away belongs to Terminator Genisys. The reboot will again star Arnold Schwarzenegger but will bring in Emilia Clarke (HBO’s Game of Thrones), Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty), and Jai Courtney (Divergent). Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World) directs the movie that’s set to release July 1, 2015. Check out the debut trailer above and come back later this week for more on this movie.
Noah Baumbach’s (The Squid and the Whale) latest film, which stars Ben Stiller, Amanda Seyfried (In Time), Naomi Watts (The Impossible), and Adam Driver (HBO’s Girls), also released a new trailer. With all the bigger, blockbuster-like movies set to release next year, it’s easy to forget about smaller projects like While We’re Young. I’m excited to see this movie when it does release on March 27, 2015.
I’ve also got a new trailer for next year’s film Vice. I’ll admit the premise seems like something that’d stereotypically release in January but with a star like Bruce Willis, you have to be at least a little excited. Brian Miller’s (The Prince) movie also stars Thomas Jane (The Mist) and Ambyr Childers (Gangster Squad). Check out the trailer before seeing the movie on January 16, 2015.
Along with its first look on Wednesday, a new trailer debuted for Wild Card starring Jason Statham. Simon West’s (Con Air) crime thriller also stars Stanley Tucci and Sofia Vergara (Chef). Look for this movie starting January 30, 2015.
Scot Armstrong’s directorial debut, Search Party, is up next. Known for his writing, I’m interested to see what Armstrong can do as a director. He’ll have the help of T.J. Miller (Transformers: Age of Extinction) and Alison Brie (NBC’s Community). The new international trailer above will have to do for now since there’s still no release date yet.
Back to the drama genre we go with a new trailer for Little Accidents. Directed by Sara Colangelo and starring Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games), this one is about a string of characters that are brought together by some terrible accidents (which I’d call more than just “little” accidents). The movie is set to debut at next year’s Sundance Film Festival so we’ll probably get a theatrical release date after that.
Lastly, I embedded a trailer for Black or White. Mike Binder’s (Reign Over Me) movie, unlike the others featured today, already technically released (on December 3rd). However, I’d bet you still don’t know a lot about this movie. Therefore, I’d check out the trailer for the movie that stars Kevin Costner and Gillian Jacobs (NBC’s Community). The trailer is above!
Come back tomorrow for some new posters!
