Photo Mania: Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Jurassic World, and More
Happy Hump Day! As we get over the midway point in the week, I’ve got my usual crop of new movies with new photos. Today’s star-studded edition features not one, but two, Marvel films – Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man. You’ll also get a double dose of Liam Hemsworth as new photos for his upcoming movie Blackhat found their way online. There’s also new stills for Jurassic World, Run All Night, Spy, and Ex Machina.
You can find all the photos below. Make sure to check in on this week’s trailers and posters as well.
First up are a bunch of shots from the recent debut of a new trailer for Joss Whedon’s superhero sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron. The ensemble pic returns all the big names, like Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Liam Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, and more. Check out the photos below and make sure to come back on Monday to see the trailer. Age of Ultron rocks theaters starting May 1st. (Source: Comingsoon)
To go along with this week’s trailer and amusing poster, I’ve got some new photos for Ant-Man that officially complete the trifecta. Peyton Reed’s (Yes Man) Marvel movie stars Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas and they can both been seen in the new photos. The biggest revelation was the picture above which showed off Rudd’s suit. Look for this film a couple months after Age of Ultron on July 17th. (Source: /Film)
I’d usually be a little more excited about a new Jurassic World photo but it’s done only for marketing purposes. If you really want to see what Bryce Dallas Howard’s (Lady in the Water) character will be driving in this summer’s blockbuster, the photo is above for you (it also features the back of star Chris Pratt). Look for some more on this film in the coming months as Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) gets closer to a release on June 12th. (Source: MovieWeb)
Before you see Liam Hemsworth in Avengers: Age of Ultron, you’ll be able to see him in the hacker thriller Blackhat. The Michael Mann (Heat) movie also stars Viola Davis (The Help). Below is a gallery to get you ready for this weekend’s release of the movie on January 16th. (Source: Collider)
In case this year’s release of Taken 3 wasn’t enough badass Liam Neeson for you, there’s another gun-totting Neeson character on the horizon. Personally, I didn’t know a lot about the movie Run All Night before this week but a batch of new photos did release in anticipation for its April 17th playdate. Jaume Collet-Serra (Non-Stop) again directs Neeson in this role. Check out the gallery below. (Source: USA Today)
Although not nearly as notable as Avengers: Age of Ultron, a new trailer dropped for Spy starring Melissa McCarthy. She teams back up with Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) in the action-comedy that also features big names like Jason Statham and Jude Law. New photos are below and Spy is set to release on May 22nd. Last up is the movie Ex Machina. Alex Garland’s directorial debut is a British sci-fi film that stars Oscar Isaac (who seems to be in every movie as of late), Domhnall Gleeson (Unbroken), and Alicia Vikander (Pure). Again, all the photos are below for you to look at before this one releases in the U.S. on April 10th. (Source: IndieWire)
