Adam Brody, Marley Shelton and Erik Knudsen Go For SCREAM 4
Actors Adam Brody, Marley Shelton and Erik Knudsen have completed deals to join “Scream 4.” The film will see Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson team up again for the fourth installment in their horror franchise. The pair gave new life to horror films after the first film in the franchise, “Scream,” hit theaters in 1996.
Original cast members Neve Campbell, David Arquette, and Courteney Cox will all return for the fourth film but the focus will be on the new generation of victims. Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin and Nico Tortorella have already been cast as the targets of the slasher’s rage. Brody will play a cop who is a recent college grad while Shelton plays the role of a deputy who was knew Campbell’s character from high school. Knudsen will provide comic relief in the film, much the same way Jamie Kennedy did in the first two films.
Brody just finished filming his role on the indie drama “The Oranges.” Shelton’s last feature work was in the comedy “Women in Trouble.” Knudsen next appears in “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World,” which hits theaters in August.
