Casey Affleck To Star in THE F WORD
Actor Casey Affleck has entered negotiations to join the cast of “The F Word.” The film is a romantic comedy based upon the play “Cigars and Toothpaste” from T.J. Dawe and Michael Rinaldi.
The plot follows a young man who hides his true feelings from a woman he loves, awaiting her admission of feelings for him. Elan Mastai wrote the script and the film will be directed by Alex Holdridge. Russell Smith, Liane Halfon, Mark Costa, Ford Oelman, and Marc Stephenson are all on board to produce the film which is being handled by Fox Searchlight.
Affleck most recently appeared in the starring role in the noir-like film “The Killer Inside Me.” He also directed the soon to be released documentary about actor Joaquin Phoenix which is entitled “I’m Still Here.”
