Jessica Alba To Join “Spy Kids 4”

Actress Jessica Alba is working out a deal to star in the upcoming film “Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World.” The film, from Dimension studios, is the fourth installment in the series but isn’t expected to maintain regulars from the initial three films.

In the reboot Alba will star as a retired spy called back into service. In the film Alba will be a mother to a baby and step-mother to a pair of pre-teen children. In the original films Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara starred as the superhero children of Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino. Vega and Sabara are now in their 20s however and new pre-teen actors will be cast in the lead roles.

Robert Rodriguez is directing and Alba has worked with him on several occasions. The actress starred in his 2005 film “Sin City” and next appears in his low budget flick “Machete.”
