David Fincher And Trent Reznor Reunite for GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO
The Social Network director, David Fincher, is reuniting with Trent Reznor for the film adaptation of GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO wihich is set to be released by Sony Pictures. Adapted from the bestselling novel from author Stieg Larsson, Dragon is the story of Lisbeth Salander.
Fincher will work again with the Nine Inch Nails front man along with Atticus Ross, who helped score The Social Network, earning Golden Globe nominations for Best Original Score. Sources say that they are already into the composition process for a few months.
The cast of Dragon has been announced – Rooney Mara will play the lead Lisbeth Salander along side Daniel Craig, Robin Wright, Christopher Plummer, and Stellan Skarsgard. The film is scheduled for released December 21, 2011.
