First Trailer for Post-War Movie ‘Emperor’ with Matthew Fox and Tommy Lee Jones

While Matthew Fox hasn’t had the best press or career ascension since ‘Lost’ ended a few years ago, his next supporting movie role, Emperor, looks to be a solid choice. Chronicling the troubles of a group of Americans who must decide how they will ‘handle’ Japan after WWII, Fox stars as General Bonner Fellows to Tommy Lee Jones’ General Douglas McArthur. The film’s title refers to Emperor Hirohito, specifically; Japan’s wartime leader and an obvious source of contention at the time.

Directed by Peter Webber and also starring Eriko Hatsune, ‘Emperor’ will hit theaters on March 8th.
